My latest new toy is Tamron 17-50 2.8 - decent lens that is 3x cheaper compare to original Nikon AF 17-55 2.8
The end result is Fantastic !!
Check this one out- all pictures taken with Tamron 17-50 2.8 without using any flash

the colour and contrast is great. is it sharp at shooting at f2.8?

the price and weight is a great plus for me.

If you want to get great pic and less than half of the price take a good close to this wonder lens - I post you some of the trial pic before I even purchase this lens later :)
